Allyson Mae Gore: French Professor and Interior Design Expert

After graduating with an M.A. in French Literature, Allyson Mae Gore has built a highly successful career as a French professor. One of the ways she maintains her enthusiasm for the subject is by traveling to France at least twice per year. The Marais, Rue Daguerre, L’Orangerie, and The Jacquemart-AndrĂ© Museum are among her favorite places to visit while there.

Allyson Mae Gore is actually a prime example of a woman who was able to grow her career quite exponentially in just a short period of time.  After receiving her degree, she taught French at a community college before landing a more prestigious position at a university.

The talents of Allyson Mae Gore do not end with pedagogy. She is also a successful entrepreneur. What is Allyson Mae Gore’s latest business venture? Quite opposite of “French professor,” Allyson Mae Gore is also a newly certified interior designer with a focus in lighting. After finishing a three- year long renovation of Victorian style home, Allyson Mae Gore, realized her talent for the interior design aspect of the renovation process, especially when it comes to lighting.

People privy to the fact that Allyson Mae Gore is opening her own small business are waiting anxiously for the new interior design consulting business to launch. According to Allyson Mae Gore, the final plans will be set in motion by spring of 2014.
